The good news is that, depending on your eligibility, we may be able to offer you a free insulation grant. Through green homes funding programmes, we are collaborating with the government and local councils to provide free cavity wall insulation to eligible homes throughout the UK. These energy efficiently grants exist to aid homeowners and private renters who are on a low income or receiving a means-tested benefit to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. If your walls are incorrectly insulated, around one-third of all the heat produced in your home could be lost. Depending on when your house was built, it can have cavity walls. If these walls aren’t insulated, heat escapes, and you wind up paying extra.
